Password Rules
The following rules apply when creating your new SPEAR password.
- Minimum length of 14 characters.
- Must use a combination of upper case (A-Z) and lower case (a-z) characters.
- Must include at least one digit (0-9).
- Must include at least one special character.
- Must not use common dictionary words.
- Must not use 5 or more identical consecutive characters (e.g. 11111).
- Must not use 5 or more characters that appear sequentially on a keyboard (e.g. 12345 or qwerty).
- Must not be a password you have used with us previously.
If you wish to change your password prior to expiry, ensure that you are logged into SPEAR first and then select the Settings hyperlink.
